[Easton] A town probably near Beth-horon. It derived its name from the daughter of Ephraim (1 Chr. 7:24). [Smith] (ear (or point) of Sherah) a town founded or rebuilt by Sherah, an Ephraimite woman the daughter either of Ephraim himself or of Beriah.
